No. Free estimates cover the proposed scope and pricing for physical tree, land clearing, excavation, and site work. Arborist consultations, permit research, onsite documentation, inventories, letters or reports, and application support are paid professional services. An onsite ISA Certified Arborist consultation may be requested for a separate fee.

Do I need a permit to remove a large or protected tree?

Accepted Answer

Possibly. Permit requirements vary by jurisdiction, tree size, location, protected status, critical-area conditions, and whether the removal is connected to development. Submit the property address, proposed work, and available photos or city correspondence so we can identify the appropriate next step. Permit decisions are made by the reviewing jurisdiction.

What if the city says I need an arborist report?

Accepted Answer

Send us the city’s exact request or correction notice along with any available plans and property information. We’ll review the requested scope and determine whether it falls within our current services. If it requires TRAQ, advanced testing, surveying, engineering, or another specialty, we’ll identify that before accepting the assignment.
